  1. Hi cestcaliforniavie!

Thanks for the compliment, I’m excited to follow your marathon training through your blog. I’m jealous of your Cali life – someday I will live there too! So cool that you were a rower as well, we are a rare breed. What school did you row for?

    Cheers right back at ya,

      Hey Nicole,

Thank you for stopping by my blog too! I’m a newbie to both blogging and running so that makes two of us. Thanks for the good luck – I will be sure to post about how the race goes!

  4. Thanks for stopping by! I love the idea of an oatmeal smoothie- that’s a new one got me! (Watch the fiber for a couple days before your run if you have a sensitive tummy.) I love what I see so far- keep up the great work! -Christy

  5. Tried to like your page but it isn’t going through for some reason. Just wanted to say, variety is the spice of life! Have fun with your fitness adventure! Thanks for dropping by my blog.

    1. Hey thoughtsalone,

Hmm that’s weird about not being able to “like” my page, but thanks for stopping by too! I definitely agree that variety keeps life interesting. I need to plan some new fitness adventures for the near future…

      1. I rowed for University of North Carolina Wilmington. It was so fun and I miss it a lot. What school did you row for? I can’t tell from the photo. Hope you are doing ok up there in the storm zone and all your important people/posessions/property are safe and dry.

      2. Hey Anna,

I rowed for the University of Michigan for 4 years (walked onto the novice team as a freshman). We are surviving in NYC! I still have no power, water, or heat in my apartment but thankfully New York Sports Club is open to the public for the time being so I am taking showers there.

    1. Thank you Torrey! Life is pretty much back to normal for me but there is still a lot of rebuilding to be done in Long Island and the Jersey Shore area. But back to the hills and pacing for me πŸ™‚

  6. Hi Kristen. Thanks for stopping by and liking my blog! I don’t mention it much, but I’m also a runner – my greatest achievement being running the South African 56 mile Comrades marathon twice. If you’re into endurance events, the Comrades is great! You can check out http://www.comrades.com. Hope the cleaning up after Sandy goes well; good luck for your running!
